Getting started
Create your workspace, connect your Shopify Partner account, and Partner Metrics imports your apps and their event history. Your first reports populate as soon as the initial sync finishes.
Connect your Partner account
Generate a Partner API access token from your Shopify Partner dashboard and add it in your workspace settings. Data is pulled read-only and stored append-only; nothing in your Partner account is ever modified.

- Do I need a Shopify Partner account?
- Yes. Partner Metrics reads your app, transaction and event data from the Shopify Partner API, so a Partner account with at least one app is required.
- Is my data safe?
- Your Partner data is read-only and each workspace is isolated to its own organization. We only pull the metrics needed for reporting.
- Can I try it without connecting anything?
- Yes. Open the sample workspace to explore every report and ranking on realistic demo data before you connect.
- How often does the data update?
- Analytics sync on a schedule you control, and App Store rankings refresh several times a day.
